Jazz Age: The Power of Silas Rourke

Jazz Age: The Power of Silas Rourke

Illustration is about more than making a good likeness, or a pretty picture. It's about storytelling. Whether it's as intangible as a mood or feeling, or as specific as a floor plan or an action sequence, an illustration has something to convey, something to communicate. A story to tell. We understand the importance of telling the story, so their illustrations begin there, with a strong concept and a solid plan. Only after the idea is thoroughly discussed with the client does the actual rendering work begin. And then the pretty pictures get made.

About Our Storyboard Services

storyboardaboutStoryboards have to do a lot. They need to get across the action, blocking and what's going on. They also need to get across specific camera views, movements and effects. Lighting effects are sometimes needed. All of these elements need to blend together and give a general feel that works for the scene, to show everyone in the various departments how their work will contribute to that general feel. And, on top of all that, it helps if they're nice to look at.

ws_pennearEvery exhibit tells a story. Finding that story—and finding the best way to tell it—is what we love to do. With experience developing and designing exhibits on topics as diverse as music, history, and science, we let our curiosity and passion lead us. We specialize in small projects for regional museums, and we also work in close collaboration with our clients to be sure their voices are heard. Storyteller's Workshop can help you conceptualize, plan, develop, and design an exhibit that will immerse your visitors in a unique experience that they won't forget.
